The Kuwait Association for Learning Differences (KALD) participated in the First Mental Health Forum and Exhibition 2025, organized by the Ministry of Social Affairs – Awareness and Guidance Center, on Monday, October 6, 2025.

The forum opened with a speech by Her Excellency Minister Dr. Amthal Al-Huwayla, who emphasized the importance of concerted efforts between government institutions and civil society to promote mental health awareness. She praised the role of NGOs in supporting individuals, families, and the community through awareness and empowerment programs.

The forum included a number of diverse panel discussions addressing important issues such as "The Parent-Child Gap" and "Balancing Freedom and Discipline."

The association's participation aimed to raise awareness of the importance of mental health, highlight the challenges faced by individuals with learning disabilities and ADHD, and showcase KALD's efforts in providing support, guidance, and community outreach.
